What does Bama have? Every time you've played a good team the past two years you get the shite kicked out of you.

It doesn't stop you Bammers from talking like you're still a championship caliber team.

Objectively...

UF has the lowest floor of anyone in the East aside from Vanderbilt.

But UF also has the highest ceiling of anyone in the East aside from UGA.

Just more people predicting UF finishes closer to the floor, rather than in between or its ceiling.

ol will struggle for sure but i believe we have a really good coach in mike summers and a good group of freshmen who will improve as the yr goes on like if martez is a beast early on and can maybe start and the other starting tackle could slide inside and play guard it would help alot

but i think people will be most surprised by the skill guys that emerge brandon powell, cyontai lewis, jordan scarlett, etc. will all complement demarcus robinson and kelvin taylor nicely

imo scarlett is the best back we've had in a LONG TIME dude is a str8 up stud

TN has a really good OL though, right?

This is the best time of the year for TN fans. Each and every year this board is cluttered with thread after thread from TN fans. Then the season comes around and they disappear. They have forgotten what it's like to be relevant, so any hope of relevance whether it be a single position group or a terrible in-game coach with a bunch of shitty sayings gets their fan base excited.

ut does have an improved squad and the gators are thin at the most important position group, so they may actually win this year.

if the gator oline can stay healthy, grier is gonna light up ut.

And you didn't even mention Hurd and Kamara.

Maybe, but that's a long shot. UT finished 4th in the league in pass defense last year. 3 ahead of UF and 9 ahead of A&M. IMO if UT losses that game it won't be because of a RS FR QB whose taken what, 3 career snaps?

This is the first year since 2012 that most UT fans have thought that we would be a real contender. Before that it's been at least 08 or 09. The "we hear this every single year" narrative simply isn't true.

that kid is lights out, however, i dont expect ufs oline to hold up all season.

if i had to put money on it now, i would say ut. I just think if ufs oline can stay together/healthy, they win it in a close one.

Oh it's true. I have been around here for a while and I promise I'm not the only person on here that knows you idiots hype the shite out of TN every offseason.

TN appears to be on an upward trend in recruiting and talent. Florida appears to have been on a downward trend. It's appearances mixed with other factors.

Big one is TN has a top QB and FL doesn't. QB is a big component when discussing the two.

The other is the staffs and head coach are new at UF and there is some continuity at TN.

With that said they very well could end up with similar seasons.
