thanks for the campaign and subtle troll but another stat is top 25 finishes, top 10, top 5, and #1, which garner the most attention from not only experts but also fans... i do believe bama owns that in probably all of college football over that stretch. in the last 10 years alone they have put together a story that rivals bear's. thats quite a feat and everyone has noticed. AU has had quite a bit of success recently but living under the university that owns our state's name doesnt help. most casual football fans dont even know where auburn is. plus 2012 didnt help our cause.

State media. A lot of the national media picks up their news from the bammerham news and other local news sources (lazy journalism) who have to please the bottom feeders of the state to keep their jobs.
You should read it sometimes. Any good news about AU is reported BUT there has to be a negative twist or a reference to something better that bammer has done.
Was it 2004 when AU played in the Sugar Bowl - and the day before the game there was a HUGE story about Bahr with color pictures and much fawning - instead of excitement about AU being #3 in the country and undefeated. Got to keep the masses happy at the sacrifice of integrity.

Let's ask AU fans if they prefer their numbers and accomplishments over that time... or Bama's?

three years ago after we won our BCSNCG, you may have had a case... not so much now. Pretty even in terms of SEC Championships, but the back to back NCs puts alabama over the top.
pretty sure every AU fan would trade our success with their success over the last three decades or so.
