I believe a 2nd team getting in will have to be a media darling Bama, Florida or LSU. And it will only be in specific circumstances. Maybe a CSS Gamecock team. Otherwise it will go down like votes have always gone down in the past.

If we get anything close to the 2011 season (where the obvious two best teams are both in the SEC), I think the SEC most certainly does get two in the playoff.
However, the odds of that happing are very slim.

I can't think of a year the BCS didn't get it right? Maybe LSU 2007? Just don't leave anything up for debate and win the SEC and you are in.

I think we should just have a 4 team sec tournament and deem ourselves national champs every year based on that...

I don't. This system was designed to keep that from happening. A one loss Big 12 or Pac 10 team gets in over a second SEC team with the same record.

What big ooc games are left pitting teams from 2 of the power 5? Just the end of season rivalry games? How the SEC she's in those could determine if it gets 1 or 2.

ND loses to USC
FSU loses to Clemson
If this happens, no way there ISN'T two SEC teams. BDF a big pile of garbage with no true champion, Pac up for grabs, B1G a steaming pile, and ACC has only two teams worth a damn, each with a loss

BYU plays nobody, Baylor hardly plays anyone. FSU almost has a cakewalk.
we will be beating each other and ,imo, the SEC haters are gonna come out in droves.
fortunately, the BIG 10 sucks this year.
