LV Candace Parker:

Our SoftVols are often easy on the eyes too, especially the blonde but I have the feeling that if the brunette were trying to be sexy she'd accomplish that (sorry can't find other pics w/a cursory search):

And of course our soccer Vols are often hawt too. Even our less attractive girls are still pretty hot. IOW, there's incentive to watch and the more you watch the more often you'll find yourself a fan of the sport you're watching.

Fair enough. I'm afraid like many UT posters CBB just isn't my thing even when I had friends on the team - it was neglected/not promoted til now. I always heard bball referring to basketball although the arena part should've clued me in (I missed it until too late and it seems foreign to me not to use the same one for WBB).

With baseball we also have the Smokies to watch ~20 mins from campus.

IOW, mea culpa - can't really help it as out of HS it gets dull for me. Write it off to a cultural thing, although with Serrano and the media promoting it more on social media I DO think it will change. I follow the updates on twitter and I've never once followed them prior.

I'm just giving ya a hard time

I'm way more of an NBA fan than a college basketball fan, for the record. Really only pay attention to CBB if A&M or Michigan has a big game or if there's a game of interest on. Plus, TAMU isn't really a big hoops school, either.

Baseball doesn't move the needle for me, but everyone has their thing I've just never seen the abbreviation "bball" and thought "baseball." Probably because all my friends used it for basketball

That is seriously where the Bama women play? High school gyms are nicer than that these days.

I know right? Foster is a total dump

And the reason it was finally renovated was so Volleyball could move there so they could convert the old Volleyball portion of Coleman into the men's basketball practice facility. It made perfect sense to move a basketball team that rarely draws more than a few hundred into the smaller, newly renovated facility.

Foster Auditorium is very nice. Very low capacity (~3000?), but it doesn't need any more for women's basketball and volleyball.

Little known fact: There is still a gold X on the floor where at one time the longest college basketball shot was made. Our men's team used to play there and one of our players made a shot from almost the opposite baseline. I think we were playing against UNC.

Ribbons in their hair = straight.
No ribbons in their hair = lesbian

Its a real thing in college softball. It signals to the other team.

Its age didn't keep it from going on the chopping block. It's role in the Civil Rights era did. So like I said...

That is kinda where I am at.

I am 15 mins from the Smokies stadium. They have good promotions. The stadium is nice. And it is cool seeing Cubs prospects coming through.

Hard for me to get up for a college baseball game.

Ok, you're dumber than he is. Our mens basketball attendance is regularly top 5 in the country. Do us all a favor and fall on a knife.
