Agreed. Both will be really good imo but they did not like the staff apparently.

Scott could be very good as well and could have gone to a much bigger school than East Carolina, but apparently transferred because he was having a baby and his GF goes to East Carolina. Struggled with injuries as a frosh and with Hurd in his class+Kamara coming in I didn't really blame him for transferring.

You guys lost pretty much than same amount of players from that class percentage wise as we did. Our class was double the size of yours and you lost 5-7 players as far as I know.

Gosh I'm just glad this doesn't happen at A&M! Oh wait...

I think it's the *'s. Idiot kids expect immediate playing time and when they don't get it they know it's because of the coaching staff, because they're God's gift to football. A lot of talking heads are for removing the sit-one-year rule. If that ever happens the problem will be A LOT worse, everywhere.

Processed. Spanx for your concern though.

Concerned?...I think it's funny as hell. It's gotta be an absolutely atrocious job of evaluating talent and/or character on Butch's part....maybe that's all he could get to commit, but I hope not!

We are pretty happy with our recruiting under Butch, if you haven't noticed

That's great, but he better start working on longevity if he wants a truly deep and experienced team because that's what it takes to win titles...ask Saban.

This is how you have top recruiting classes and are still young every year.Take the stars, no matter the actual talent or baggage, and cross your fingers for instant success.

aeems to be the rule these days. The coaches are pressured to take shortcuts.

I'm assuming it's because they take like 40 signees every year and have to make room for the next crop of 40.

Butchs recruiting is plateauing as well and transfers don't help. If he doesn't win 10, he's done in Knoxville. That is unless UT fans are ok with 8-9 wins each year

Wrong. It doesn't work that way.

This is how you flip a disaster of a roster in only 2/3 seasons.

Butch brought in as many players as legally possible in the 2014 class to see which ones would fit his program and be the best players. In that process there were a couple that left for other reasons obviously but mainly this was him trying to bring in as many bodies as possible and then weed out the ones not able to contribute.

We have had DRASTICALLY less attrition in the 2015 class but I'm sure that doesn't fit your agenda so you don't want to talk about that.

Let's look at who's left from that class and I bet if you compare it to any other programs players on their roster from their 2014 class it will still be damn impressive.

5* RB - Jalen Hurd - Possible ALL SEC RB this fall
5* WR - Josh Malone - Starting WR hoping for breakout season
4* DE - Derek Barnett - All American potential DE
4* S - Evan Berry - All American KR and possible starting FS
4* S - Todd Kelly Jr - Starting SS great player
4* LB - Cortez McDowell - First sub for JRM
4* DB - Rashaan Gaulden - Starting S or NB
4* LB - Dillon Bates - Back up to Darrin Kirkland
3* C - Coleman Thomas - Starting C on Remington watch list
3* TE - Ethan Wolf - All SEC TE Possible
3* LB - Gavin Bryant - KO and Punt duties 3rd string LB
3* OT - Charles Mosley - Back up Guard on OL
3* TE - Jakob Johnson - Back up TE
3* OL - Jashon Robertson - Starting OG and ALL SEC player
3* K - Aaron Medley - All SEC potential K
3* DB - Eman Mosely - Back up or starting CB
3* DT - Dimarya Mixon - Starting DT

Already Graduated (JUCO)

4* WR - Von Pearson - two great years at WR
3* DT - Owen Williams - Two great years at DT
4* LB - Chris Weatherd - Contributed but didn't really break out as hoped

It does for TN they if you don't recall they invented the BS blueshirt crap and signed 30 plus the last 3 years. Biggest sham in the recruiting world, when the rest of us have to play by the hard 25 rule.

And what's yours? Winning the east 1 time?

We've been in the worst football period of our history since Fulmer was fired. We haven't done squat since he left, ill admit it. Yet during SC's best period in their history, you haven't really done much either. Couldn't even beat us when you finished 4th
