It makes no sense...people in Louisiana don't eat corndogs. If they said we smelled like shrimp or crawfish it would make some sense. I didnt see corndogs til I moved to Texas. Now I realize why Auburn is U of Alabama's dumber cousins..

frick Auburn, I like corndogs. After a few beers, those things are the bomb! 
BTW, I actually had one at Auburn when I went there. It wasn't bad (I was sober).

This would actually make much more sense. Or saying that LSU fans smell like crab boil. That is funny and partially true. Make up a tshirt with a tiger in white rubber boots. People would get that and laugh.
The corn dog thing is simply ignorant because LSU is known for it's food at tailgating and trying to connect corn/corny dog to Louisiana is a stretch that you really have to warm up for first.
It's like saying that barners smell like tacos and maple syrup because nothing says backwoods Alabama like tacos and maple syrup.
