We returned every meaningful starter except for Moncrief and a lot of our team was young and the consensus was that they would continue to grow and improve. That and a lot of star power led us to a high preseason ranking.

Since the season has started we are outscoring opponents by 30+ but haven't played anyone decent except for Boise is alright. Other teams have lost so we have slowly crept into the top 10.

We have proven we are not super overrated like UCLA or USC, but have yet to prove we are a great team because well, we haven't had the opportunities.

Given we play Alabama, A&M, Tennessee, LSU and Auburn in five consecutive weeks, we will have our opportunity. If we go 3-2 or 4-1 in those games then we will prove we belong. If we go 2-3 or 1-4 we will drop a lot and show we were over ranked.

It will work itself out so just focus on beating Mizzou and Kentucky and stay tuned, I guess.

Doesn't matter had sex.

How many times did Ole Miss win the West in the 90's when the East was running shite?

The east has never been as dominant as the west is right now. There were two good teams in the 90s

See. Exactly what I mentioned in the thread I started. Here's the classic example of the Ole Miss divisional cheerleader.

What does Ole Miss not winning the West when it was down have to do with how strong the West is now? The west will cannibalize each other and the last three teams standing will be A&M, Bama, and Auburn.

Ole Miss and South Carolina are not rivals. Never will be. I don't get these threads trying to stir up things between the two teams.

CNB gives USCe fans a bad wrap. I'm not sure why people even respond to this trailer trash and his retarded arguments. I've heard more logical football debates at the feed store in Starkville than what comes out of this kid's mouth.

Your thread asked if we actively root for west teams. frick no that would be stupid.

How good the west has been however gives us somewhat of an excuse for not winning it so far.

You won it once and got arse raped. Congrats. I'm truly jealous.

Our schedule shits all over yalls. I would take that sc schedule over ours in a heartbeat. I'm sorry that the sec east is down and you have to depend on non conference teams in order to get quality wins. We know you aren't beating a west team that's for damn sure.

Both of those games will be physical for OM even if they win them both. Tenn has some talented players but youth gets in their way.

Ole Miss is a top 25 team, likely. They are not a Top 10 team until they beat someone of note. That is unlikely to happen this year w/ MSU pulling ahead of them.
