Why do Ole Miss fans act like the Bama win was program changing?

Yeah it was a big win against top ranked Bama, but what did it earn you?
A natty? LOL
A SEC championship? Nope
OK, a division title? Negative
Capstone of a 10 win season? Haha, not even
The "program changing" win was followed by close losses, but then a shutout loss to the butt of all fat jokes, followed with a butt-raping by horny toads. But you go ahead, Ole Miss, and beat your chests like you guys reached the summit. Hell, who am I kidding? That may very well be the summit for you guys.

I'm guessing you're just basing this off of media narratives and fans on tRant. Let me explain it to you pretty easily:
The media wants to build up the hype for the game and what better way to do that than to say "this isn't your usual Ole Miss?"
