We have seen top rated teams go down on the road to lesser quality opponents.

Hardly ever teams as good as LSU or Alabama are this year.

Not to LSU or Alabama.

LSU hasnt won often in JHS and when they did it was on a great td pass by J Lee. Prior to that AU has held its own against LSU in JHS.

The gap between the two teams has never been this big. At least not in this century, except maybe last year.

Using last year as a measuring stick isnt the same. Prior to that AU won in JHS.
In 2009 AU got shell-shocked in TS.

LOL. Irrelevant. Y'all lucked out with Cam in 2010. Without him, LSU is going for 6 in a row against Auburn on Saturday.

LSU 37
Auburn 10

Auburn is starting one of the worst QB's in recent SEC memory. They either cannot or will not tackle.

The HC left for Arky St. last year.

It will not be close. It will be enjoyable.

I think LSU scores at least 52. AU will be lucky to score 10.

last year LSU won in a lotf blow outs...but
auburn was the only team we played that seemed to quit against us...they just didn't want to get hit anymore...
a wide receiver was laying the wood to their returners...I don't see any signs that his team is any different than last year...

Who is to say LSU is "that good" this year.. Bama is byfar the best team in the country.. They have dominated at a neutral site, SEC away site and at home...

LSU.. 3 cupcakes at home.. 14-21@ the half against Idaho in Tiger Stadium.. If Idaho had the depth they wouldve gave lsu a push in TS in the second half..

Meh. LSU was only up by a TD against WKU at half last year IIRC. Bama had trouble early with FCS Georgia Southern. Bama and UT were tied at half.

Halftime scores are pretty meaningless, and every team has games where they come out flat against cupcakes

True. If Idaho was better they would've played a better game.

well, if you don't play a road game in the first 3 weeks then you are not eligible to be the best team that year. Got it.

Blowouts are not entertaining

Great point. Auburn has the upper hand now.
