Why do LSU WRs suck while at LSU, but flourish in the NFL?

OBJ and Landry, just to name a couple.
Both hardly did anything at LSU, but have done very well in the NFL. Those are just a couple of examples. It has happened there for quite some time. Why is that, LSU fans?

OBJ was an all American and Landry all conference. They both had 1000 yard seasons in 2013. But yeah "hardly anything." Try harder

It's the same answer as to why Julio Jones had an inconsistent career at Bama. They were playing on an incredibly bland and vanilla offense with terrible play calling and shitty QB play.

Uhhh...OBJ and Landry didn't suck at LSU. That was as good as, if not better than any other 1-2 combo in the country in 2013. The problem with that team was that their Defense sucked and they had a mentally challenged head coach.

That was a great offense that LSU had in 2013. Mettenberger came into his own, Hill was a solid back, and you had IMO the most talented 1-2 WR punch in the country. That LSU team should've been 12-1 if their Defense was more consistent. The loss to UGA was on the Defense. Y'all could do anything you wanted to against their D, and it took a shootout, and even thought Mettenberger struggled against Ole Miss I also put that on the Defense. And if you recall, the BAMA game was tied late into the 3rd quarter and we pulled away in the 4th.
