so just because LSU lost to a great Bama and Arkansas team everything is thrown out the window?
I think the fact that so many outsiders wrongly think this is just about the last 2 games is a big part of the disconnect here. It's not, at all. I've detailed all the reasons why several times on here and don't have the time to do it yet again right this second, but I may make a thread to explain it all to y'all later.

Don't hate Arkansas at all. But realize that LSU is a much better program and has no business losing to them on a year that LSU has one of the better players in the country. I know you want us to hate y'all, but we don't. We can call it a rivalry, that's fine. There's a trophy and whatnot. But in reality y'all are just another conference game that LSU shouldn't lose; similar to MSU.

You really have nothing better to do then spend the time typing that much about another teams coach?

If anything opposing fans saying we should keep Les only reinforces our belief that it's time for a change.

Most of the posters here are younger than 25 or 30 so they only knew the 2003 and 2007 seasons.
Older folks like me look at those years as anomalies where the younguns look at 8-5 as an anomaly. Over history LSU has been 9-3 8-4-ish way more than 12-1. Check and look at how many 10, 11 win seasons they've had over history. A small handful.
What they have now is what they've always been. There will be exceptional years but they have never been even remotely the dominant SEC team for any extended period of time in football.

you can't justify expecting championships every year.
Of course we can, we aren't Arkansas hoping to catch lightning in a bottle every 10 years.
We are LSU.

I guess Florida should just accept what they did pre-1990 as what they are "supposed" to be?
Things change, and if you don't demand excellence you'll never get it. LSU has as many or more resources as all but a few programs in the country. If you're expecting us to just be happy with regular 3 and 4 loss seasons then you can just exhale because that's never going to happen.

just link the summergeorge thread from yesterday
actually, I'll find it
Jimbo related thread, but lots of explanations in the thread
you're not gonna like the content, because LSU fans feel as though LSU shouldn't lose to a not-very-good Arkansas team. Let's face it, y'all aren't bad, but you're not good either. And LSU is a 4 and 5 star ridden team with give or take 4 first rounders.

What does this even mean?
We can't expect improvement or have a want to improve?
This post is pointless.

It's just the nature of the business. Believe you me, if Bielema drops these last two games somehow, it'll be a #FireBielema campaign.. lol. I do look for LSU to come back strong this weekend against Ole Miss, so don't count Les out just yet.

LSU fans think they deserve to win the SEC with a true sophomore at QB. It's adorable.
