Maybe because Louisiana has a NFL team for one thing and I'm not much of a NFL football fan, but when I do watch there is always a former LSU player playing on some team and doing well. Alabama fans take things too personally.

I seriously rarely ever see LSU fans claim Saban is a bad coach. Those that do are usually our knuckle-draggers (of which every fan base has).

You could make the argument that some Bama players are system players while LSU guys tend to be raw.

Why do LSU fans talk about the NFL so much?

The same reason we talk about food so much.

And the same reason we talk about drinking so much.

And the same reason we talk about music so much.

And the same reason we talk about tailgating so much.

...We like to party.

Because we have a NFL team in our state unlike Alabama. College football is all you have.......literally.

Louisiana is a fun state with many options. On one of those rare autumns when LSU is down, they can pull for their hometown Saints.

Alabama only had UAB

You have to understand man, the recruiting rankings system is rigged. Therefore, Alabama is really not getting top ranked recruiting classes due to the "Bama bump" they all receive once they commit to UA. However, Saban only wins because he pulls in top talent. He's a terrible gameday coach and fortunate to win due to the fact he's stock piled on talent. Once the players declare for the NFL, they show their true form, being the overrated talent-less scrubs they are.

It's all here in this LSU pamphlet.

This was clever...and I laughed... well done!!

Ok, whew. Looks like, despite my admittal, all of our trophies are still in the case. Did y'all get any new ones?

LSU has a lot of trophies in the case, and unlike Bama we actually diversify how we earn them.

Please, NFL players are all LSU has to talk about? Bama football is literally the only thing your no culture state has to talk about. It's why you pack the house for spring games because there is literally nothing better for you to do.

What are you doing that's better than grilling out and watching free football in April?

Landry is not even a #1 WR. He doesn't have the ability to stretch the field like the other 3. Julio is on a different level than the others as well.

Jones is in his 6th year whereas Beckham is in his third. Beckham's numbers are way better than Jones' first three years.

Y'all forget about Jarvis Landry who is having another solid year playing in obscurity down in Miami, but he's got about 600 receiving yards.

Look, all 4 of those receivers are very good . If Atlanta traded Jones for Beckham, I doubt that there would be much difference in production same with Cooper. Would love to see what Landry could do with a competent offensive system.

Depends on the year, but typically Mardi Gras and countless other festivals in the area.

I'm assuming you mean a parade? Mardi Gras in South Louisiana is far more than parades. There are events, aside from the parades, for weeks leading up to Mardi Gras day.
