Maybe it is because at Alabama they practice catching screen passes instead of practicing running.

I love when LSU fans break out the "Bama Bust!!!" chant. It's almost like they're too stupid to realize that that is a great recruiting pitch for Bama.

"Son, if you come to Alabama, even if you're not that great, we'll get you overdrafted for your talent level and make you boatloads of money."

Not sure I see the downside as a Bama fan. Win NCs and dominate recruiting; all with inferior talent to LSU.

And none of you who follow the program that his THE System can give an honest answer why your dominant rushers turn into heaping piles of shite in the NFL. I believe I asked this in the OP. But keep on deflecting.

The only running back we've had that you could classify as a heaping pile of shite is Trent Richardson. You're not even putting any effort into these comments. It's sad.

I linked another article for you. Would you like me to link more? Or are you avoiding that now?

Yeah, actually. So far, you've given me one article from Sporting News that didn't quote a single scout, while acknowledging that Eddie Lacy and Mark Ingram are very good NFL backs. And now a Saturday Down South opinion piece written by some girl named Jessi Lee.

Try. Harder.

Just let me know when you've had enough

quote:

The perception in the NFL is that players exit Tuscaloosa with bodies that have experienced potentially significant wear and tear. When it comes to the ups and downs of former Alabama running backs at the next level, the pounding they took while playing in the SEC — and while playing for Nick Saban — creates a concern that there isn’t as much tread on the tires as other players may have.

Please post the RB recruiting poster you have framed in your dining room.

And yet another article that refers to Mark Ingram and Eddie Lacy as good players.

You really are retarded, aren't you?

And reading is hard, Carl. Your thread title asks why RBs "grossly under perform," while the quote you're attempting to talk shite with is addressing the "perception" that Bama backs get too many carries in college.

I'd give you a 2/10 on this thread. I think you're good enough for a 4 or 5 out of 10 if you put a little more thought into it.

Mark Ingram - 1st round, Pro Bowler
Eddie Lacy - 2nd round, Pro Bowler
Jalston Fowler - 4th round, starter
TJ Yeldon, 2nd round, starter, most yards by a rookie for the Jags in a decade
Kenyan Drake, 3rd round, role player
Derrick Henry, 2nd round, rookie backup, role player
Trent Richardson - bust

Bama has more RBs in the NFL than any other college program, and they make more money than any other RB group from any other college.

Poor effort, IMO.

Your posts are worthless, man. It's really hard to even respond to. I'm trying really hard, but it feels like I'm arguing with someone in grade school. Quick, throw in another laughing emoji.

I've provided links to where you are full of shite, man.

Don't get mad at me. I didn't write all of those articles.

Do you still want me to post more? Because it doesn't matter how you spin it or how fricked up your perception is; there is a shitload of the same articles out there saying the same thing.

You really are a delusional old man.

Do I need to edit my post to say it's a shitty arse offense for a running back, and the play calling as it relates to their usage of RBs sucks a-hole?

No, you provided links to opinion piece articles from shitty sources, save for one, written by nobodies while claiming that "Many NFL scouts" agree with you, which was a flat out lie, apparently.

You were just dumb enough to think those articles some how strengthened your weak troll attempt.

Bring it on.

Mark Ingram - first round, Pro Bowler
Eddie Lacy - 2nd round, Pro Bowler
Jalston Fowler - 4th round, starter
TJ Yeldon, 2nd round, starter
Derrick Henry, 2nd round, rookie backup
Trent Richardson - bust

Bama's shitty running backs keep getting drafted, and they keep starting, and they keep making money.

You really are a delusional old man.

The only delusional part of my brain is the thought process that determined I'd have a slight chance of carrying on a semi-rational conversation with Errerrerrwere. Whoops.

Most RBs in the league. Twice as many as LSU. Your troll job is terrible, idiot.
