A better question is why would any fan like a team or program who fans continually has to tell everyone how relevant their program is/was, especially decades ago?

The scary thing is some Ole Miss fans, despite being near the bottom of the conference in just about every sport, believe this.

I think this is VERY LAUGHABLE about how R-Kansas fans think that there is a BIG RIVALRY between them and Ole Miss just because

Not nearly as laughable as your posts and support of a team that well is pretty much useless in the scheme of things...

A better question still is how many conference championships would Arkansas have ever won if they had always played in the SEC rather than the SWC?

Given that you have not even come close to winning one in the nearly two decades since you became an SEC member, it would suggesst that virtually all of Arkansas's "vaunted" football history is a myth born of playing in a particularly weak conference.......

Are there really any SEC fan bases who don't hate Ole Miss?

The only two that really do are LSU's and MSU's. LSU because of the traditional rivalry aspect and MSU because of their inferiority complex--not just in football, but in everything......(the original post in this thread was based in jealousy--because MSU is so insignificant that nobody even considers them to be even worth "hating" )

Hey Rebel fans, do yall even know where Atlanta is?

Look, the West has been so weak at times that a 5-3 record gets you to Atlanta. We did not get there even though we were 7-1 in '03. So I just don't place a lot of credence in that.....and of course, the fact that you got blown out of the water in every instance just reinforces my point.

However long ago our championships were, we at least won them in the SEC.....which is something Arky has never done and I am a little inclined to doubt you ever will, although one never says never about anything in football......

I will never feel inferior to any dickhead that wears red bowties to football games and wakes up Sunday morning talking about how much zima they drank the night before.

Arky fans, care to tell me who your coach was in those years? Must have been terrible to win the SECw with him as a coach

the title is a trick question. Arkansas fans don't hate University of Mississippi. They want to see the coach do poorly, not the school.

Once he's elsewhere, Arkansas fans will go back to not caring about the Rebs.

What really chaps the Rebels' asses is that they know that Nutt pissed away their best chance (with their most talented team in decades) they will ever have in their lifetime to get the SEC Championship Game. I can't recall how many posts I read about Nutt getting them to Atlanta this year.

Yeah, to borrow a phrase from Diana Nutt:

"I find that to be quite funny".
