Historically they are a better program and Dallas/Ft Worth has a bigger tv footprint than middle of nowhere Texas.

Some fun facts. A&M has won 24 straight games against TCU, leads the series 56-29 and hilariously has a more recent National Championship.

Yeah we were so scared of the shitty Longhorns that we ran to the toughest division in the toughest conference in college football.
SEC West is so much easier than playing Kansas, Iowa State, Baylor, Texas, OU and OK. State.
