Why do people assume us cheating was the reason they lost?

How is Shea Patterson taking the bowl ban these days? Got his red shirt pulled at the end of the season, now facing at least one season bowl ban, possibly more. Kinda sad to see a 5* QB spend half his college career with nothing to show for it.

I do like several theories here:

TAMU coming on the scene
AU getting away with 2010
LSU kneeling at the goal line

I think Freeze cracked under the pressure as well. I think he was told "get players or else". So he knew his arse was on the line and needed a team that would do whatever he asked so he goes to people he knows like Saunders and Farrar and tells them the deal. They figure why not, if they can get away with it Rev Freeze will get a shot at a big time school and they can ride his coattails (which almost happened at UF).

Dan Mullen mud stomped their Cotton Bowl team. The OM alumni knew they were getting left in the dust.

I feel compelled to tell you the truth Sarge. I seem to recall you are somewhat older than most posters on here (just as I) and therefore remember the "old days" when Tejas A&M was the #1 NCAA sanctioned team in the United States of America. Auburn and Wichita State might have been tied with y'all. I just assumed your coaches and supporters felt y'all HAD to cheat to be relevant. Every time y'all won something, it was later discovered you cheated. in summary, if anybody would understand the Ole Miss predicament it would be the Ole Sarge himself.

it's a shame the written word cannot convey sarcasm so this post may come off more harsh than intended.

Why?

Because State was about to whoop dat arse 4 years in a row. Regardless of what they come up with this is the reason.

I thought it impossible to think less of you as a poster but you have most certainly managed to pull that off. dozens of foil hats, eh?

Everyone does it. They decided to up theirs years back, and did it too quick and too much at once. Simply stuck out, and too obvious.

OMers probably feel their athletics should match their level of "society." They are realizing that outside of MS no one revers them as much as they do themselves within the states borders.
