They did late in the process. He'd be Jordan JEFFERSON in this offense. He made the right call

They came in late and offered him as a QB and he decided to stay with State. Just one of those things where Mullen got on him early because of his leadership qualities.

State got on him early, stayed on him. LSU made a push for him as a senior but the kid stayed loyal to his commitment and it worked out for him. Super young man, not many like him.

Early on Dak was thought to be a grade risk plus a bad evaluation so lsu wasn't after him early. We did offer late but he was all msu at the time. Dak would not have been successful at lsu not because of talent but we would not of changed our scheme to fit him

With Condredge, Bear wouldn't have him at QB because he was black -- said Alabama wouldn't tolerate it. We would.

Dak wouldn't be half the QB he is now, if he had gone to LSU. Worked out better for both parties.

Why didn't Bama jump on Jameis Winston r Jacob Coker first time? Same reason both LSU and Bama but running backs into NFL year after year but QB's not so much. Run Baby run.

Not wrong at all. Hell, Condredge said he was glad Bear was honest with him.
