He was quoted, at the time, as saying he was tired of the constant turnover on his staff because he could not pay them a competitive salary. It had been an issue from day one with him. His leaving caught Whisky completely by surprise, the A.D...the former HC...in particular. He had lost something like 6-7 assistants & was looking at losing more at the end of that season.

I don't know much about wisky but they seem to be good in football and basketball consistently. With good facilities, etc

He was banging students and partying too much but then he got married.

Wisconsin is a better football AND basketball school than Arkansas.
Maybe wisky were like go ahead if someone wants to break the bank for Bret freaking bielema.
This assistant thing although may have some truth to it seems like a bunch of bullshite for a guy who got a stupid arse big contract from a school that was desparately looking for success after petrino debacle
