Doesn't Simmons have like 20 double doubles this year?

19.5 ppg with 56% fg
12 rpg
5 assists per game
a block and 2 steals per game

Why does anyone think this guy is good at basketball?

Well if gettin' crabs is what he wanted, he certainly picked the correct place.

He likes good food, whiskey and beautiful women? If he liked BBQ, cheap beer and boys he obviously would have gone to A&M. If little boys then Penn State. If he wanted millions then UK, Bama or Ole Miss.

Simmons effort on the court in several games should be discussed. Blame it on JJ if you want but when does Simmons man up? He, and those around him, are just as responsible as JJ for the shortcomings this season.

All homerism aside, you are right. Simmons will need to toughen up in several areas to excel at the next level. His coworkers in the NBA alone will light a fire under his arse if he doesn't pull his weight.
