Not knowing the difference between 6 inches of water and 6 feet of water is much more ignorant.

Now??? We would have still been favored on 10/8 and probably would have won handily.

I can't believe you're serious. let's be objective here; LSU had a home game scheduled for this weekend. a money maker OOC game. Florida REFUSED to postpone the first game and was the ONLY TEAM TO DO SO. they simply "canceled it" and the pussy running the SEC allowed it. meanwhile LSU was the one bending over backwards to postpone (like all the other fricking schools impacted) not CANCEL.

I know you're trolling, but you or anyone else can spin this anyway you want to but if you can't be objective and see how Florida fricked the SEC race you are not very bright and biased as hell.

this same scenario has occurred before and LSU has either hosted a game (south Carolina), postponed a game (Tennessee) or played at the other field (Arizona). Florida, however, chose not to do any of these things and got away with it.

what we need is a commissioner with balls. maybe even a rule. one school should not be able to manipulate the conference race like UForfeit again.

lastly, I can't wait till it happens to your school. you will change your sorry arse tune.

You'd think LSU fans of all people would be understanding and sympathetic to the conditions surrounding a hurricane.

Exactly...you'd think they would offer to fly in and play on Sunday or Monday...but did they do that???

Oh, they did? Nevermind.

They could, but they don't want to miss the game this weekend in Tiger Stadium.

Three SEC road games in 12 days, brother.

When has a team ever gone through a gauntlet like that?

Not our fault Florida backed out, so why should LSU suffer?

Here is the rational with out all the Rant garbage.

LSU would have to cancel a revenue home game to travel to UF on Nov 19. This is not covered with insurance. This is about $10MM to LSU and community economy. LSU Football transfers about $10MM a year back to general university. Failure to make this transfer means LSU cancelling programs or going into the taxpayers pockets - not gonna happen.

UF cancellation of original game is covered by SEC insurance. This act of god was not LSU's incident - it belongs to UF and it is theirs to make claim.

This game is the largest senior class' in recent memory last home game and is Senior Day. LSU was unwilling to pull this rug out from under their players.

LSU will lose a home game anyway next season but can plan for it financially. So in summary if LSU was to cancel USA game and travel to UF then LSU would be taking the complete financial hit for UF's unfortunate circumstance and poor decision making.
