unfortunately - that was then - this is now - most offenses have improved quite a bit from 5yrs ago. If he can't make plays - he'll get beat by A/M, Ole Miss, LSU, and Auburn. That 9-6 garbage is gone.

You win the SEC by running the football.

I don't think Coker is going to help or hurt you running the football.

He's a red herring to your chances for a SEC title in 2014. Keep focusing on your line and tailbacks.
That will be the key to your successes and failures.

(of course... everyone will always put those successes and failures on the QB anyways).

So you're not worried one bit about a guy that was unable to start once in his college career taking reins at Alabama in game one against a very potent WVU air raid offense?

Greg McElroy played behind John Parker Wilson for two years. And we're talking about a WVU team that went 4-8 last year in the Big 12. Please forgive me if I don't take either of your points seriously.

The fact of the matter is, we have 2-3 great RBs and 2-3 great WRs. The offensive line returns 3 starters from last year and the guys moving in to the spots vacated by graduated/drafted talent were highly recruited 4 and 5 star athletes.

If Coker is as half as good as the staff thinks he is I don't think we'll have too many problems.

Okay. One great (Cooper) and two good (Jones and White) wide receivers.

With our improved front 7 I have little worries about those "high powered" offenses

I'm not thrilled about either guy. All white runs are fly routes and Jones doesn't run routes that great
