Im sooo sick of the mythical NIGHT shite at Tiger Stadium. And im an LSU diehard.

Those statements contradict.

The games are cooler at night yes.

Damn right they are.

But they always tout the winning percentage and that's stupid.

Cause big games are the ones moved to the day time, leaving us to munch on some mcnese states/ mississippi state wanna bees

If you were a diehard, you would know that's not true. Besides Auburn this coming year, there have been no major LSU game recently has been played during the day. Every game last year was at night. Last two Bama games were night games, when UF is ranked it's a night game (Florida two years ago was not an important matchup, and we kept them out of the end zone anyway). I want to say 2008 Bama started at 5pm, so the sun sets by the 4th quarter. We have a better atmosphere and better play in night games, so our winning percentage is better. End of story. It's not a myth, it's the best damn tradition in college football.

Uh, no. Go back and look at the game. Bama was up 14-3 at the half and moved the ball early in 3rd qtr.

Yep. And everyone forgets the wide open PA pass McCarron overthrew to Cooper in the first quarter, which would have been an easy TD. Alabama could have been up 21-3 at the half. Can't take anything away from LSU though. They play a damn near perfect second half and Mettenberger played lights out.

The reason why LSU has lost to Bama this millenium
1. Bad qb play (2014 and '08)
2. 3rd and Chavis collapsing in the last 2mins (2012 and 2014)
3. I don't remember the '02 but IIRC LSU was down all around and Bama was stacked but on probation and post-season banned.
4. I don't recall any of the pre-Saban (LSU) games vs Bama because I am not an old fart like most of yall.

Alabama holds a 25–9–2 record against LSU in Baton Rouge

Between 1971 and 1998, LSU was winless in Baton Rouge, going 0–14–1. Alabama has gone 5–11 in games played in the state of Alabama since 1982. In fact, in the series history, only 42 percent of games have been won by the team playing in its home state (excluding ties), although Alabama has won far more games in the state of Louisiana than LSU has won in the state of Alabama

pretty interesting stuff..

Bama has a 11 game win streak 1971-81
LSU has a 5 game win streak 2003-2007

For me the LSU game is THE game of the year.. always great!!

LSU wasn't down all around. They had lost starting QB Matt Mauck after Saban stupiudly left him in during a blowout win at Florida a few weeks before. The 2002 team was good everywhere else. But, after Mauck went down LSU went 2-4 to end the season after starting off 6-1 and in the top 10 (one if those wins was the Bluegrass Miracle as well, the other being a 14-13 win over Ole Miss). But yes, Bama was good that year and was on probation. It was just a bad game all around for LSU... clearly

I couldn't remember what game we lost Mauck but I knew he was injured for the last part of the season. The only games I remember from that season was the Bluegrass Miracle (who could forget that) and the clusterf**k in the Little Rock.

I'm pretty sure that Alabama went 31 years (1969-2000) without losing to LSU in BR. It was told around Tuscaloosa that Coach Bryant called Charlie Mac and asked if he could schedule some other regular season games in BR on weekends that LSU wasn't playing there.
