Why can't Alabama beat Vandy?

We were 0-5 against them in athletic events this year...they're Alabama's daddy!

Simple answer is Vandy didn't play Alabama in football and Vandy doesn't compete in softball and gymnastics. Those are the only 3 sports Bama cares about.
