I'm so tired of hearing this. It's not true, stop saying it. And please STOP chanting SEC at your respective bowl game.

I see what you did there. Well we still had a shot to win even with all that gifting. Prepare thy self for the next show. But seriously I hated watching that game.

Alabama has held teams, on average, to more than 15 points below their scoring averages, while scoring on average 11 points more than their opponents allow (including 35 points on the nation's #1 scoring defense).

Michigan State has held teams, on average, to 5 points below their scoring average while fluctuating wildly between scoring more than their opponents allow and scoring less than their opponents allow (10 more ppg on average).

Alabama averages just over 14 ppg allowed while Michigan State averages just over 20 ppg allowed.

BLUF: Alabama wins.

bama's scheme is not some 8th wonder of the world shite or all that particulaly complex to decipher. Saban is gonna do one of 2 things to mask his lb's shitty ability to cover man to man in space

1. he's gonna blitz with his LB's. blitzin lb's dont cover anyone

or

2. he's gonna run some form of zone with his LB's whille the CB's/ secondary man's up. it's like a 3-4 version of the tampa 2 defense somewhat

which is fricking great. it works. it's a perfect college scheme becuase

1. most college QB's aren't able to reconize the blitzes

2. most college qb's are not accurate enough to pick apart the middle zone, and won't have the ball long enough to get to the ball to the secondary

the problem for the defense is, when they do face a QB that can recognize when the blitzes are coming and who CAN in fact get the ball where it needs to be in the zone. Conner cook is going to start the game out picking that middle part of the field like a meth addicct picks his face.

Then saban is going to be forced to do something else, i.e try o man up the tight ends with his lb's and at that point the game is a wrap

bama's.. i don't want to say weakness, but problem is their LB's are run stopping lb's but not pass coverage LB's, Reggie Ragland would get abused tryig to cover Hunter Henry one on onne all game man to man. but don't face enough passing teams with good enough QB's to expose it. that won't be the case here..

Ole Miss lost to Memphis, didn't stop them from beating Bama.

Our defense hardly blitzes at all this season. Don't know anywhere I could find the exact numbers but I do believe Danielson brought it up during the SECCG.

In the first place there are very few true LBs in college who excel at man coverage. This is hardly anything that's unique to Alabama's defense.

The teams that have targeted our LBs in coverage did it on the edges. Wisconsin and Auburn had a few successful plays with that.

MSU's run game is weak so there's a good chance you'll see more DBs in the game anyway.

It is obvious that you haven't watched a single snap of a Bama game this year.

Last year bama played one team with a qb that has NFL talent... Osus third stringer and lost

In fact since 2012 bama is 2and 4 against teams in uth future or current NFL qbs (2012 Georgia 2013 Aggies) and neither win was by more than 7 points. That line right now is stealing money

And none of those 5 qbs is as good as Conner cook. He could very well be the first qb taken in the draft

Of t those 6 games only one of those teams had a defense in the top 50 Ohio state last year. Sparty is 26th...

Yeah her Henry will get this but sparty will the pass game down and cook is avqb that can take advantage of bamas achillies heel their young secondary and lbs who can't cover in space

It really won't be close

No. My team is currently on a 9 game losing streak to those fricks.

Seriously, how does Bama winning the shite every year help any of us as at all?

I'd rather see the conference go to shite than see one team owning it.
