What does "they've been there before" even MEAN for a Gamecock fan? Where have they been?

I just think the Aggies have a lot of historical frustration and they're feeling pretty full of themselves.

This is probably the closest to the truth.

We invented historical frustration, FWIW.

We also have a bit more self control... I don't know how many threads I've pulled up a response window, typed out a concise refutation of the idiocy being spouted, re-read it and went... "frick it, no point." We have a history of mediocrity and derision the likes of which Aggies would flee from in terror. We are hugely optimistic about this season, but have learned from repeated past heartache to temper our boisterousness until we get some actual on field results. It will pick up after the second weekend if we are undefeated, though. Fair warning...

I hear you, but no. You really don't know what it's like to be really, really fierce but have a bigger dog in the lawn next door. aTm and Auburn know what that's like. Auburn people, being fewer, not being Texans, and having had more success, handle it differently.

But having grown up an Auburn fan during Bama's 1973-81 streak, I can relate.

Manziel averaged a whole yard more per rush than lil ole Herschel. And he threw for 3700 yards on top of that. So make Herschel a better runner, give him Peyton Mannings passing stats, and you have Manziel.

It is easy for "running QB's" to have a higher yards per rush rate. They can be more selective on when to run...such as wide open field. If the hole is not there they can throw the ball. Also, with how the defenses have to play now due to the passing threats, Hershel now would be even better. They used to load up the box so he had to fight for every yard. Give him some of these holes and only have to break a tackle or two and he would dominate...same with Bo

BTW I would take Tebow and maybe even Cam over JFF right now.

If it was so easy, why has no player in the history of the SEC had as many yards as Manziel? There have been plenty of mobile QBs.

Sorry tbird, but this here is a homo statement. If I remember correctly, people on the rant welcomed the ags most graciously, for the most part,

You remember so very INcorrectly

Would you rather Manziel not play this year and postpone his crash and burn for the NFL or would you rather he played this year and be god awful?

By who? Certainly not you. Florida already proved that. And Georgia proved we can hang by playing YOUR division champion down to the wire.

So, exactly where do you come up with this? You REALLY ought to keep quiet.

SouCar is quiet because they have confidence in their team. And rightfully so. Texas A&M keeps yacking because you just aren't sure. You have doubts.

You sir, I like. I lived in Texas for awhile and know EXACTLY what you are talking about and what you mean.

I never said it was easy or that JFF sucks. My point was to compare Hershel's stats from 30 years ago to JFF is pointless. That's like comparing Jordan to Pistol Pete.

Maybe its because people aren't talking trash to the cocks in the same amount that they have been talking to the Aggies

515 yards resulting in 10 points.

That's a lot of nothing.

Maybe you missed the point. It was ARKANSAS from LAST year. They were 4-8!!!

Oh. And Alabama shut them out, AND Arkansas only got 137 total yards against them.

Because South Carolina fans don't have a major case of little brother syndrome.

I would rather him lead a 14 win team to glory.

But he played in the same era as Cam and Tebow, and destroyed their numbers?

Bingo... If some of you fans of other schools had to walk a mile in our shoes you would probably cut your feet off. So , forgive us for being quietly optimistic, and a little bit gun shy
