Is it because if sumlin does not win more next year he may get fired ?

Yes, that's it exactly.

Sad what passes for a "troll" thread these days

To your credit, I think Sumlin knows this DC hire will make or break his A&M career.

That's a legit statement. He has been told he has no limit on what he can offer, just don't screw it up.

Honestly I am willing to give any DC hire a chance as long as Malik Jefferson gives him a chance too.

Maybe the defensive coordinators interviewed are under the impression they would have to participate in some of the Aggies weird traditions. That would be enough to scare any sane person away

You ags are hanging too much on Malik Jerrferson... He is a good player, but you need so much more and you need you players to stay out of trouble first.

That is why so many Aggies in Houston are upset, they are tired of the bad guys and they are blaming Sumlin and his portrayed swag image.

DGAF, those are the same folks who were mad at Sumlin's predecessors for only recruiting good, docile boys who you'd want to date your daughter but would get their shite pushed in on the gridiron. They blame "swag" now, they blamed "soft," then.

The solution is to win.

We realize this.

Word is they are talking to Cam Cameron. He made a lot of defenses look good this year.

Damn, you just came out swinging in this thread.

Sumlin's offense. Defense stays on the field too long.

Quick, somebody tell Clemson's HUNH that they can't possibly have the #1 total defense.

Hey smartass....Out of 125 teams, Clemson was #35 in time of possession.

Texas A&M was #123

Why are you trying to speak for "so many Ags in Houston?"
Your next door neighbor and/or a malcontent caller you may have heard on a radio show, while sitting in traffic on 59 do not speak for hundreds of thousands of Ags.
No one knows what the future holds, but it's disingenuous to make up stuff.
We'll be fine.
Promise,

It's been too long since I've laughed that hard on this site. I always love when the first response kills the troll.

Nah. I know some day we might eventually lose to A&M.....but I don't spend too much time dwelling on it.

LSU's had our number and the Tigers I know are happier than 2 peckered billy goats that they are 3-0 vs A&M since we joined. They have done better than even Bama. We've been very competitive during these rebuilding years with the exception of LSU. Credit goes to Les Miles.

0-3 LSU
1-2 Bama
2-1 Auburn
2-1 Ole Miss
2-1 Miss State
3-0 Arky
