Almost half of the season five complete games and three quarters, and it's still ranked among the best in the nation because we managed to put up 36, 24, 31, and 48. If you add in the fact that Pinkel refuses to humiliate any opponent the numbers could have been more staggering.

Sooooo USC was one of our weaker opponents?

Seriously? You need to think about what you are typing. If you believe this, you help to perpetuate the myth of the west. One team in the west has dominated, and it isn't Ole Miss or aTM.
Do I think they will be worthy opponents? You betcha. But I look forward to the opportunity for Mizzou to match up with these teams. I respect them, just as much as I respected USCe, but certainly have no fear.

But there is no 'myth' of the west. Of course Alabama has dominated, they would dominate the East as well along with the PAC 12 North and every other conference/division in the country. A&M is still a good team with their only losses coming to other West teams. Same story with Ole Miss and they beat a good Texas team. Auburn will most likely finish 10-2 and LSU is strong too.

That is not what you said...

And last year, Auburn was a shite storm.
My point is that I think there is a balance between east and west, outside of Alabama. And even Bama can be beaten. So this year UGA and Florida have suffered down years. SC has stepped up and so has Mizzou.
I guess I just have more respect for the entire conference than you do. Mizzou may end up in the West, but I won't have any less respect for the quality programs in the East.

Im just going to say this once and then be done with all the feel good shite, if Mizzou doesnt make it to Atlanta, Im glad it will be South Carolina.

Agreed.
Mustard based BBQ is the best. All y'all yankee ketchup lovin' BBQ pundits are just controlled by the Agricultural Industrial Complex run by Heinz out of Pittsburg.

I think there is a number of old school SEC fans thinking WTF when they look at the BCS standing and see Mizzou,aTm and South Carolina 9/10/11 and carrying the weight of the conference outside Bama.

Well they're just gonna have to get used to it.
