Well, if you don't win the East you can use the SC had an easier schedule excuse over and over. That will indeed happen if SC gets to Atlanta.

Eta: while it would be tempting to LSU it up with regards to schedule, in the long run I'll be happy with even a 9-3 record. Even though I feel we could be better or could have been better. It's a huge improvement over last year and better than most expected.

I doubt that any fan base would see it otherwise. How many times have Mizzou fans heard from folks that we played weakened teams in the east?

Did you play East teams at full strength? Of course people point out that fact. That's to be expected. It's not like folks are making it up to piss you guys off.
Like I've said before, you guys shouldn't care what condition each team was in. Likewise, you shouldn't be surprised that other fans from nearly all other teams recognize that that some of the East is banged up this year and not at full strength.
If you win, you'll hear more of it. If you don't win, it all goes away. If I were you guys, I'd love to hear more of it.
