because the best coach in lsu history went to their division rival and accomplished more in a decade than lsu has in their entire history.

And that's a fact, it's not a flame. Imagine if Richt left UGA in 2005 and went to florida then replicated what urban meyer did there. I gotta admit I'd be pretty damn salty towards the guy too.

First it was the Bear and now Saban. LSU has a lot of reason to hate Alabama. Even if you're an older fan it's all you've ever known is Bama reeling off some ridiculous winnpercentage against LSU. I do think over time a lot of the older fans came to respect Bryant. I don't think Saban due to his LSU ties will ever be truly respected.

I think it is hilarious that LSU fans are the most butt hurt about Bama getting in the playoff when LSU is the reason why Bama is in the playoff.

If Auburn had won the LSU game early in the season, AU and UGA would be the 2 playoff teams from the SEC. With that being said, with the way things worked out Bama deserves to be there.

They eat things out of their ditch in the front yard, and brag about it.

That's some third world shite. Cut'm some slack.

Saban is the ONLY reason... If he wasn't there neither would your other seven.

Well this is an offsprings of their message board so naturally it will be more LSU posters, personally I don't feel like they are obsessed. Really it's just handful of LSU posters yuckin it up most days. Some are envy of other programs success, and show it in uncreative ways.

I think most are cool.

It's just a weird emotional time right now for LSU that has some of the Fringe all worked up.

Jimbo's hire at Texas A&M is bringing back memories of last year's coaching search. The season wrapped up with two or three significant Mulligan game storylines, and, of course, the regular season winner of a major one lost out in the post-season for one and went from contender to "Peach Bowl vs. A Non-power 5 for a bowl game" overnight. Bama backed into another championship opportunity without winning their division. Les is up for a new job in the SEC. Their cross division rival may finally be getting back on track. There is competition in the West aside from Bama, etc. That is a lot of scar tissue to pick at and emotions to deal with for some. Coupled with typical holiday stress, it may have broken a couple temporarily.

Fortunately, they got a good bowl and big match up. But, if Bama wins and ND upsets the Tigers, it may break the system for a few days.

Why are Georgia and Bama fans obsessed with LSU? That is the more legitimate question.

They are still butthurt over Saban. It’s the melt that keeps on giving.

Travis Tritt wrote a song for the Loseranna State fans

I'm gonna be somebody,
one of these days I'm gonna break these chains
I'm gonna be somebody, someday,
you can bet your hard earned dollar I will
