I guess when most of your players fail in the NFL routinely it makes one feel better to take digs at schools who produce more NFL ready talent than you do.

by Riseupfromtherubble LSU hasn't won a major bowl game since 2007, and they've lost 4 in a row to Alabama. There isn't much to "brag" about from their perspective, so they cling to anything they can. Most fans pull for their guys in the league. LSU fans don't love their players and hope for their success more than fans of any other school, it just seems that way because they're very vocal about it, again because it's the only thing they can really point to and brag about right now. I welcome the onslaught of downvotes, but everyone reading this knows it to be true whether they're willing to admit it or not. If LSU were dominating college football, they'd stil support their former players, but you wouldn't see as much chest thumping over those guys success in the NFL. It's starting to become a tricky argument for them, because now Alabama has more superstars in the league than they do. They'll need to start winning some ball games against Bama or they won't have a talking point at all, and will just have to bend over and accept defeat Lacy, Jones, Hightower, Dareus, Mosley are bonafide NFL studs. LSU has Peterson, Williams, Whitworth, OBJ and a lot of role players.

This. This. A million times this.

Yep..Patrick Peterson, OBJ, Jarvis Landry, Jeremy Hill, Honey Badger, Eric Reid and many, many more did nothing at LSU.

Yes, and to the OP's point: How come all these former LSU players, who have so much success in the NFL, can't ever seem to sustain success while in college? Sure, they may achieve some awards, but the team usually falls flat on its face on national tv.

Never mind, we know...Refs, scheduling, cheating, blah blah blah

It's widely known that Bama fans suffer from annual amnesia. They don't sell a lot of NFL jerseys at Walmart in Alabama unless you go to the coast where they mooch off of our state's NFL team.

If you were thinking logically, LSU fan, you would be upset that all of this talent is going to waste while on campus.

don't get mad at LSU fans just because you hate alabama players

Is this some new fictitious story LSU fans are running with? You guys constantly say we worship our players, but now we hate them? Which one is it? Kind of like when you say Alabama produces nothing but bust, but turn around and say Saban is terrible at developing talent. So Saban is terribe at developing talent, but gets the best of his players while in college, which amounts to much success. And of course Les is great at developing talent, but can't seem to win with great NFL players on his roster. Hmmm...

What a great gif! I'm sure that run set up such a great TD in the end that allowed LSU to win the game at home and get revenge for the 21-0 raping in the national title! Bravo!

I think the point he's making is that once they leave Alabama, you don't watch them anymore because you can't afford the NFL network.

Ah yes, the old "you've been told" retort. You guys are as predictable as you are stupid. When someone pokes a hole in your logic, you simply go on and say "Man I got you! This entire time I was planning to troll you and as you see, I succeeded! Herp derp lsu 4eva"

Didn't LSU lose the game in that first GIf?

I miss me some JC Copeland. He was good for at least one huge momentum swing in Bamas favor. That's what happens when you play a fat Olineman at RB.
