Seems like a bunch of Georgia fans still think they're the class of the East.

Give it a few weeks. Georgia will lose to Vanderbilt, Kentucky will beat Missouri, Vandy will beat Florida. The entire division is an embarrassing cluster frick.

And LSU got embarrassed at home by Mississippi State

Nobody knows if they are any good other than beating that shitty team

I'm not at all. I still think we lose 2 more games and go 9-3.

Give it up - this division may not be superior, but it's far more entertaining.

East is in your head.

Didn't you guys almost lose to Kentucky at home? Beat Tennessee next week, and then talk. Until then stfu about who's classy.

I don't know. The same reason Gator fans are? What have you seen out of Florida that makes you think you are any good? Driskell?

Tennessee was the better team.

EAST
Tennessee
Kentucky
Georgia
South Carolina
Mizzou
Florida
Vandy

Based upon what? The score?
First downs?
Yards gained?

Or just your opinion?

Who? Tennessee? If UT beats us by more than a score, I'll self-ban for a month.

So, you don't actually think you will win? You want points from a team that hasn't been relative since the "90s?

No idea. They are just as bad as everyone else. Can't even beat a Dylan Thompson led USC for crying out loud.

This is it.

How in the frick do you lose to Dylan Thompson? We've said it since last year when Connor Shaw took over the skull fricking, thompson is absolute trash.

Them getting 20 tonight was more on our offense going 3 and out over and over and over than anything uscE did.

Here is why I am confident:

1 - it is a long season, I think our defense will be better and stronger later in the season

2 - a lot of folks were saying that aTm was not as good as perception after the USC game, and that USC was not as bad. Same for Mizzou (after IN) - they played their hearts out

3 - we have one of the best offenses in the country, outside of Oregon, I can't see anyone better than us with the rock

4 - the rest of the schedule looks really manageable - we don't play anybody that we flat out can't beat

5 - I think we can match up with anyone in the West

6 - as a Georgia fan for 40 + years, I EXPECT to win the SEC every couple of years

I think we have a strong shot to win. Sure, we lost a tight game to a bitter rival, but that is so 3 weeks ago...

I was pulling for UF against Bama, but in the end, y'all got Roll Tide and buried.

Firing Boom ain't the answer, he has already taken you to the Sugar AND has your guys playing like they care. It looks to me like he almost has the mess he inherited cleaned up, but that this won't be your year to compete for the SEC.

Anything from 4 - 8 to 9 - 3 looks feasible for UF for this year, either way, y'all need to keep Boom.

For UGA, it LOOKS like 9 - 3 is our worst case scenario, BUT we are once again favorites in the East (no disrespect meat to Mizzou)

How can a Florida fan be confident enough to call anybody out? Even if another team does win the east, I seriously doubt it will be Florida

We only lost because of a stiff dew in Columbia, right Auburn?

Seriously? You guys have a really good running game, but your passing game leaves a lot to be desired. And your coaches continue to try and force that lackluster passing game in situations where they should just be feeding Gurley the ball. Sorry, but your offense as a whole is not one of the best in the country.

No disrespect meant to you, but there's a lot of delusion in this post.

1. Your defense is surrendering an average of 31 PPG vs. teams with a pulse.

3. You can't - can not - have one of the best offenses in the country while trying to hide your QB.

5. Based on the above two observations, Georgia would enter each game vs. the West at a disadvantage at QB. Any team capable of holding Gurley to 100 or less should have no problem outscoring you. And god forbid, someone gets up 14-21 to really test Bobo's determination to stick with the run.

All this said, you have met the primary criteria to win the East: yinz lost to South Carolina.

Our QB had a shaky game, but we are about to get back our best receivers. They will get to tune up against Vandy (who is not a threat this year)

I expect to see better QB play, our guy is at least decent, add in explosive wideouts and the best RB in the country, and I think we will be fine.

Because what he said was basically something he's hoping for. Nothing he provided to back it up.

The counterpoint was that they are currently (factually) absolute shite.
