re: Why are Aggies fans still so confident after Arkansas completely gave away game?

Takeaway is holding the pigs to less than 100 rushing in the second half. For A&Ms defense that's a positive. The offense will will work itself out.

I understand it's confusing as we're not like LSU in which fans increase their expectations from 7/8 wins to a national championship after a couple wins and then throw a raging hissy fit after a close game, but Texas A&M is not like that.
That's because you have never experienced any sort of long sustained success, and you also don't know what championship teams look like.

Go frick a sheep or something like the rest of your brethren. Did I do that right?
It is always funny when a coon arse gomer makes fun of Texas A&M. You do realize that you live in a state that NO ONE gives a crap about right?
Aggies have better degrees and get paid more than LSU grads. Deal with it!
More sheep freaking jokes? Where is your wife?

Off-Topic, but I was very impressed with Myles Garrett. I knew he was good, but was under the impression he was just a great pass rusher..... He came up big against the run as well, complete package for sure
Ugly win was ugly, but we're all just excited it wasn't a loss. Team played like crap in the first half.

From a third party, it's probably because they missed a ton of chances in that game. They played extremely poorly and came out with a W against what will end up being a very quality Arkansas squad. Playing the game on a field in Texas literally means nothing. The field is owned by an Arkansas alumnus.

No one should ever expect an objective response from the Swamp Kitties. Everyone knows they are best in the world at everything and will gladly tell you so!
Why shouldn't Aggies be confident? Number 1 offense in the SEC for three years running and getting better!

This.
We played the worst game I have seen us play in the Sumlin era. Our offense looked hungover for the first 3.5 quarters, dropping easy TD passes, horrible throws/decisions from Hill, pathetic play calling, dumb penalties at all the worst times, and Lambo missing a FG?!
The fact that we played like complete dogshit almost the entire game and still somehow pulled it out in the end is what gives me optimism moving forward. Do I think we will be in the playoffs? No. But what was looking like a 6-win season is now looking like more of an 8-9 win season, which I am good with in what for all intents and purposes is a transitional year. 2015 and 2016 are the years I think A&M could compete for a playoff spot.

I don't know if the SEC has ever seen this level of delusion, which is quite a profound statement if you stop and think about it.
Yes the 12th Man was so deluded that no Aggies left the game even when we were down by 2 TD's in the 4th quarter.
They all stayed and yelled their arse off and our team found a way to win.
Tiger Stadium had already turned into a graveyard when your team started coming back in the 4th and that is a profound statement.

Because we stood up. Dropped bombs and took away the game, dummy.

You are right. Never winning anything in the conference takes care of that

Aggies won. They are undefeated. They played bad and still won. Who is going to stop their offense? Defense stepped up in the hole down 14 points.

I think we took care of this problem with a QB change

And yet LSU is a bottom feeder in the SEC and only six days away from being 0-2 in conference play. At best LSU is going to be 4-4 in conference play this year.
Keep bragging!
Please post next week after Auburn stops a mud hole in your arse to remind everyone how much the Aggies suck!
