Gradual- Reason I'm worried is OU is used to your style of football. And next year once sec teams know it too your be losing a lot because sec defenses against. It took chavis 1 quarter and Florida 1 half to adjust. Gimmick offenses don't last in the sec ask auburn. And yes playing OU who's familiar with that O is a horrible matchup for aTm

Didn't OU get lit up for like 350 vs. Tavon Austin? They have problems.

Yeah, the several OU games I caught this year, they looked like a shadow of their former selves.

I will admit I've seen maybe 30 min of OU games all year.

Realistically I doubt they lose.

I thought IceCold posted a warning about bumping threads to call out other posters

And I don't see TAMU losing the Cotton Bowl.

My question is how long will the Cotton Bowl show favoritism towards AtM because of their Big 12 ties?

Any statement about OU being "used to this type of O" is really inaccurate. They are used to Air Raid/Spread offenses but they are not used to an Air Raid mixed with a run threat like Manziel or even a guy that can scramble anything like him. A&M also has a better OL than any team they have played all year and honestly probably better WR's and excellent RB's. They won't be as caught off guard with the pace or some of the passing but that isn't what makes A&M's O so hard to stop.

The bigger concern is A&M's DB's matching up with OU's WR's but if the A&M D is healthy (as they should be) they should be able to contain them.

Well let's just hope Stoops goes in there cocky as frick like he did in 2010. But I agree if Dustin Harris is playing we're in trouble. But if we light Mr. Jones up a couple times we're good.

They won't favor them so much because of the Big 12 ties but rather the 300k+ alumni that live in Texas, probably 100k in the Metroplex.

You SEC types don't know shite about OU, but apparently the internet is now available even in the swamp surrounded trailer parks of Loserana.

So, do a little research about how well Bob Stoops' coached defense do against mobile quarterbacks.

Here is a synopsis (that is like a summary for those of you in Loserana): They get clowned by mobile QBs in a good offense. The list is long.

It's not Big XII favoritism, it's state of Texas favoritism and the fact that Manziel is big in the news these days, making for high t.v. numbers.

It's also a moot point because the cotton bowl contract expires in 2 years.

As for odds, I'm guessing about 75% chance we win. OU is pretty meh in a lot of ways, but they are still OU and bowl games make for some strange outcomes sometimes.

Aggies are getting too much credit for their 20 point first quarter against a flat Bama team. They scored 9 pints the last 3 qtrs.

Hope they win,but it will be a tough game.

What a difference a year makes. As long as this game doesn't get switched to Norman we will win. The Ags will be highly motivated and I expect us to play our best game of the year.

Perhaps you shouldn't couch it in these terms. Sans Bama, A&M drew the hardest opponent.

FWIW, I'm sorry the Cotton Bowl decided we're better.
