Drew Brees plays for the Saints so i'm just gonna claim him as a QB that Les developed because Les is just that glorious

Probably Cam Newton and he isn't a great qb

what makes someone a great qb then? If it isn't winning the NC, winning the Heisman, being the first pick, making the Pro Bowl is 2 of his first 3 years, unanimous rookie of the year, breaking the NFL rushing TD record for QBs as a rookie, countless other NFL records, rookie records, and firsts, and leading his team to back to back playoff appearances (a team that was 2-14 when he took over)

then I have no idea

the only head coaches that have shown any sort of a track record in developing great QBs in this league have been Mark Richt and Steve Spurrier

Nick is on the verge of saying "frick it!" and running the single-wing. Just eliminate the QB position entirely.

maybe not to that extent but I liked Bama's offense better prior the hiring of Kiffin. In the ND game when you punished their defense every snap until they avoided contact. I love smashmouth football.
You could start to see glimpses of it in Arkansas last year even in the games we lost. I hope to see more of it this year with the hiring of Enos. Chaney never got it. if you run 3 successful running plays there is no need to sneak a play action pass. Just pound the rock.

Les... and it's not even close.

The lack of QB development at LSU under miles is beyond pitiful.

So, the question is: Of three head coaches, two of whom own Natties (one multiple times) and one who has lost a Natty (barely) - who is the worst at developing QBs?

I think they are all pretty good. Sabah has a great track record (with three of his Bama QBs having sports careers after college). His LSU QBs did fairly well too. Auburn's guys are still coming around, but it is still too early to see how they do After Auburn (I'm not counting Cam - that was while he was a OC). I would say Miles is probably the least of three very good coaches.

The rest of the SEC sucks balls.

I don't mind throwing on 3rd/short or goal line to change up your tendencies. But, goddamn, do I go nuts when I see us in the shotgun!

Do any OCs understand football at all? In the shotgun, when you run out of it, your RBs are passively waiting...for...the...QB...to...receive...the...snap...before they start towards the line of scrimmage. Meanwhile, you put your OL in a passive stance instead of firing out at the snap; plus, the DL is teeing off because they see the QB set 4 yds behind the LOS.

If you're going to throw in short yardage, put the QB under center! At least the D has to play the run honestly.

(This is/was my biggest gripe about Pussmeier & Kiffin.)

I don't think any of those are QB coaches, so I vote:

D.) 'none of the above'.

He went farther in the NFL than his predecessor, #1 overall pick Russell.
In fact Flynn is still in the League..
