Other than Choust, Lod Cook, quite a few others LSU has like the wealthiest woman in China as an alum. I'm not sure if she donates a single dime though. Pollyanna Chu is her name i think. bitch is worth multiple billions.

She was going to leave her entire fortune to LSU until you called her a bitch. Now it's all going to the Save the Panda Foundation. What a terrible miscalculation on your part.

Pollyanna did not go to LSU. Her husband, Nicholas, did though. Unfortunately she owns the vast majority of their fortune and companies.
Plus, he has no buyout in their marital contract. LSU fricked.

The Chouest Family is from Galliano.

Orgeron is from Larose.

The towns are two miles apart. I don’t see that happening.

Bernhard was the CEO of Shaw and sold it to CB&I for $3 billion a few years ago. His Private Equity Fund-Brown and Root, EPIC, Etc-are likely worth more than Shaw at the time of its sale.

Bernard ran for Senate at one point and ran the La Democratic Party shortly before or after as I recall. Chouest has cash but Bernhard is absolutely willing to spend 7 figure amounts to move the needle for LSU and has offered to do so in the past.

Fun Fact: Bernhard’s son was a close friend of current LSU Soph WR Drake Davis. He graduated and signed out of IMG but I believe he lived with Bernard’s family for awhile during his youth.

Phil went to Tech. The other boys went elsewhere and are casual fans because they are Yankees from around Shreveport. (Monroe I know, but that sounded better)

Bill Conti, Academy Award winning composer of a zillion movie scores (Rocky, The Right Stuff, Karate Kid, etc), must be up there in wealth by now. He's not from Louisiana, but he graduated from LSU school of music in the late 60s, and married a golden girl. Mr Conti, if you're reading this, please please help us out!
