VT may have been ranked in top ten,but are average at best. LSU was not lucky to beat Wash.
Keep telling yourself that sunshine.
Great win over a team that did not win a game last year.

I was impressed with Bama. I had LSU ahead of them to win the west, but I think I would take Bama over LSU. Though we haven't seen OM yet.

Any team Bama beats is always over rated.

If you read any of my posts prior to the game,I predicted Bama would dominate them. Said the same before they played LSU in '07. I've never been impressed with VT.

Im not sold on Bama's offense just yet. If GM has to run around for his life like that every game then this is going to be a potential problem as they get further into the season.
I think what happened with LSU was that they underestimated Wash. That team is not 0-12 last year with Locker playing QB for them. Hell they had BYU beat last year.
Both teams are going to be good teams once the they get into the flow of the season.

Locker missed 8 games last yr,and he is a very good QB.Did you know that Tech lost their top RB in fall camp?
Let's see how the season plays out.

Yeah...I am surprised you guys had the Citadel on your schedule. I mean...what an awesome powerhouse program you guys played there. Very gutsy!
Like UL Monroe?

I remember 2007, playing Va. Tech. Pounding them 48-7, holding them to under 150 yards total offense, thinking our defense would be the cat's arse of the SEC.
We then proceeded on not to be able to hold any SEC team to under 20 points all year long.
