Alabama has had much more experience sucking arse on special teams in recent years, so it's my thought that they are probably more skilled at being worse.

what I can't understand is why Saban can't seem to find quality FG kickers.

does he not award schollie's to that position? or does he "ruin them" by over analyzing it. I can see him fricking up kickers minds.

I know LSU relies on a supposed kicking guru out west to find our kickers. That's one reason we have 3 straight Aussies and the kickoff specialist that was his high schools back up kicker.

Not sure if Saban does the same. But most teams don't have a real special teams coach. Usually a guy that fills the spot but mostly helps somewhere else.
