I for one thank God for your bad defense because Ole Miss is the only team to take Bama to the brink so far this year.

After that game and the way be played against UGA I was thinking 8-4 looked really good and 7-5 would be the disappointment. The defense really just looked like they gave up and mailed it in. I'm not one for excuses, but the NCAA stuff played a big part in our focus this year. Again, it's not an excuse by no means. I'm still proud to be a Rebel and will always be proud to be a Rebel. Hell, if I made it through a 2-10 season, I think I can make it through a 5-7 season.

Are kids starting to learn it doesn't matter how good your recruiting class is if you don't have the coaches available to help you develop into a great player?

Maybe we have this all wrong. Maybe Hugh Freeze has outsmarted all of us. If he doesn't have any top draft picks he can get by without having to show his face at the NFL draft this year.
