We couldn't care less - we're headed up and Vandy's headed down, regardless of who their coach is

I wouldn't really call it a rivalry but I thought having a little bit of in-state competition was beneficial for both parties. UT never had that since the early 1920's.

Past 5 years have been the worst 5 year stretch in UT history. If UT is good, a decent Vandy is not a bad thing for UT imo.

9 win season is the pinnacle of Vandy football.
5-7 is literally the worst season in UT history. Only UT and Ohio State never lost more than 8 games in a season.
