As a Gator fan, I hold a degree of animosity toward both programs; Bama due to our rivalry in the SEC Championship game, and FSU being our little sister from the north...
I can bring myself to respect Bama and their accomplishments. frick FSU!

FSU has a shite program. Bama has a shite load of bandwagon fans that are only tied to the team by sweat shirts and bumper stickers.
I say Bama is more hated. Nothing induces hate more than a muffler dragging idiot yelling "roe tide" at the alumni of other SEC schools.

Hate is not the prevailing emotion. Disdain and maybe contempt is what I feel about FSU. I used to enjoy watching them play, but won't waste a second on them unless they end up playing some SEC team.
I do not hate Bama, but was aggravated when they lost to OU in BCS Bowl last year.

This year, FSU has caused fanbases to unite behind Bobby Petrino, Notre Dame, & Miami.

I'm not sure if people really hate Bama, they just kind of roll their eyes about Bama similar to how people do Calipari/Kentucky.

Bingo ! It's bama's fans who are hated because of their arrogance. And it's not even specific to the past few seasons. Back when the Bear was reaching obvious retirement age, I met up with a few bama fans down at Gulf Shores. I asked an innocent question, who did they think would replace him. Two of them answered together: "it makes no difference. We are AlABAMA" ( their emphasis ). In the nation's eyes, FSU is Winston & Jimbo.

Bama's been dominant, but I don't think anyone outside of the SEC "hates Bama". They hate the SEC. Within the SEC, Bama is the most hated, and it isn't close. I don't really give a shite about FSU other than the fact that Winston is a clown and Jimbo seems so comfortable thumbing his nose at the sports media and everyone else who points it out.
On this board, I'd say Auburn and Ole Miss fans are as loathesome as Bama's, but they are a lot more tolerable than Tide fans in real life.
