Damn it doesn't seem like that long. He coached at Florida for 12 seasons. Could he exceed that and become more synonymous (as a coach) with South Carolina than Florida?

Doubtful. Unless he spends the next three years winning the SEC and NC he will continue to be associated with UF. We'll definitely get a couple chapters in his books... but he'll always be a gator.

Based on most recent hires this is like who takes over the Tonight Show. Les and Nutt fit the bill.

Whatever makes your lips wet, my man.

The point is this: Sumlin is a gangsta

So your thread title is shite? This thread is really about Sumlin, not the HBC?

So much fail in so few words.

I almost think Chad Morris would be a realistic possibility. The butthurt would be insane.

It almost seems like that's what he's holding out for.

The Other Black Coach?

Mason replaced Franklin, is that what you meant, or do you mean who's going to replace Sumlin?

He's actually said he doesn't really like being called OBC.

It's always been HBC and always will be.

That old picture of Dantonio is cool ... brings back some memories.

Where'd ya find that?

He was a hitter for a DB in those days. A very intense player. But those haircuts in '79 ... lol.
