Right, because LSU has never had a QB improve in his second year as full-time starter. Especially not one under Cam Cameron. Just doesn't happen. Impossible.

White is a better passer but i think Harris will do better due to White is in the wrong system to be successful

I don't really understand all the picking against Harris. Brandon is a product of his system...which hates QB's with the fire of a thousand hells.

I don't know of any QB that would be successful when every 3rd and 7, we come out in a double tight I Formation and 1 WR and run a play action pass with only one man in the pattern.

If Harris were at A&M or Ole Miss or even Tennessee, he'd have 10x better stats and everyone's outlook on him would change.

Freshman stats

Harris, 8 games 25/45 55.6% 452 yards 6 tds/2 ints 175.04 rating (26 rushes 159 yards 3 tds)
White, 7 games 83/143 58.0% 1167yards 1 td / 4 ints 123.31 rating (30 rushes, 30 yards)

It will be interesting to see what White does in year two

Agreed. Harris would look great in a spread offense. But then he wouldn't get the pro-style development he needs.

doesn't seem to be working too well for the guy. I mean, I just don't see him as an NFL qb at all, if that's what you were getting at

So, which mediocre QB from last year will be less mediocre this year? Riveting topic.....

I am not saying he cant improve or QB's at LSU cant improve, im not really a fan of either of these two qb's that this thread is about. There is always room for improvement but basing my objective opinion on his accuracy that i seen and his game play i just believe he has a much lower ceiling than a lot of players. He doesn't have great QB intangibles that i have seen yet, even QB's that end up being great but are awful to start, still show those intangibles as they improve. I feel he is an average game manager type at a power house school that doesn't ask much of him other than what i already described which is what works out well as that is about the extent of his capability.

seems to have spurred quite the discussion. Perhaps you're just a little salty because BH has never shown any signs of a pulse?

I think both QBs would be better in the other's offense.

That's a great observation.

obviously didn't watch much of LSU last season, we can drop with the best.

The facts don't support this.

Nope. It's everyone who buys into the "Brandon Harris is terrible narrative".

White has 1 TD in 143 attempts and only completed 58% of his passes. Yet, you have people in here touting him as "consistent". It's laughable.

This is a good assessment of where Harris is and what we can expect this season. He will be improved just from experience but I don't think he is throwing for 3000 yards.

Do people not realize Harris played the Bama game and every game afterwards hurt? Doesn't seem they do.

Is he still injured ?
