TCU got screwed and if this game keeps going the way it's been going they're making one big arse statement to those on the playoff committee.
It's pretty clear that, save a miracle from OM, TCU's going to win this game and they're doing so in such a way that the playoffs and the whole selection process has been exposed as just as controversial and prone to legit criticism as some of the more controversial BCS years and non-BCS years. IOW, they've reinvented the wheel yet the wheel is far from perfect let alone controversy-proof.
