They weren't as good as the 91 Rebels who lost to Duke.
The 90 Rebels had 1 thing David Butler that could give UK trouble
Hunt and Anthony would have trouble with UK size
Augmonn was no offense
Johnson would be cancelled out by K-AT
The bench of UK is better also
Cal is better coach than Tark
ETA:
Johnson should have been at SMU but the NCAA invalidated his act and his LOI at SMU.

They aren't better than 1999 or 2001 Duke. Everybody else is fair game though.

I will take 1990 Rebels and here is why:
That UNLV team was seasoned. They were MEN. This Kentucky team has more raw talent but they are still young. The late 80's early 90's to me was the best era of modern College Basketball. You didn't have a ton of guys leaving early and teams were allowed to season and mature. The result was better quality basketball from top to bottom. Want to know why so many mid-majors make noise in the NCAAT these days? Look at how many Seniors they have on their roster. The big programs have too much roster turnover. If a guy can play, he's gone after a year or two.
Just my opinion .....

2015 Kentucky is bigger and more talented. It'd be hard for UNLV to beat them but they could do it.
I think the 2012 UK team would beat the 2015 UK team by 10 points though. How that team didn't go undefeated is beyond me.

I agree. It's an unfair comparison. A seasoned 15 UK team would smash the 90 UNLV squad. Much, much more length and talent.

LSU's team of future NBA players, including Shag, did defeat that outstanding team from Vegas but I'd have to say they would take the current 'Cats 2 out of 3. Both really great teams.

Davis was still getting better, as crazy as that sounds
