The only thing they really lack in comparison to A&M is fan loyalty
UF had the longest consecutive sellout streak in SEC history until Muschamp came along.

Sellouts is an accurate description of both Florida's fans and players.

Kinda the point, don't ya think?
UF is a top 3 job in the country IMO so gotta go with them.

Which shows the difference between A&M and UF. BCS bowls weren't shite to us whereas that would have been one of the biggest games in Aggie history.

Gators and it isn't close

I think it's a push. The potential at A&M is enormous, especially with a guy like Chavis running the defense and Texas rebuilding. They certainly have us beat in facilities and money.

Florida, despite only really being relevant with the arrival of Spurier, they have done really well since then til recently. I think Coach Mac will get them back on track however.
A&M, though has a long record of mostly being mediocre.

Florida and it's not even close. They have a built-in advantage not many others do, and that is the fact that 17-18 year olds hear the state's name and automatically think of beaches, girls in bikinis, vacation, Miami, etc. That mindset alone will always boost UF to a degree, not to mention good recruiting grounds, past success, and much better visibility overall. No teenager is amped up about College Station Texas.

Florida, by a big margin.

As a program? Florida
As a head coach up to this point? Sumlin

This thread isn't who you think is more likely to take a step forward, it's who do you want to.
I would think most should want A&M since our ceiling is so limited?

Yeah, based on their supporting rationale, I think most people misunderstood the question.
Fair enough.
It was an odd thread.

How's it an odd thread? Which team would you rather be/support from today on.. As in which do you think will be more successful
Posted on 7/8/15 at 9:14 pm to DocHoliday11
Which team would you rather be A&M, Florida, or Ole Miss?
Posted on 7/8/15 at 9:24 pm to DocHoliday11
Lolol I read it as who would You rather be moving forward, not who would you rather be, moving forward.
Posted on 7/8/15 at 9:24 pm to DocHoliday11
Because posters would state and explain their opinions, then respond to your question completely contradictorily.
Not your fault I guess; just the way posters read it.

cant really give a fair answer cause I've never been to Gainesville or college station so I don't know anything about the town or campus other than stereotypes of jorts and gay cult members.. I love the small town "home" atmosphere of oxford but it's growing fast and I don't think I'll love it the same way I do now in say 10 years or so
As far as athletics AM and florida will have greater chances to maintain a higher level of success based on money/location etc. mississippi will most likely never be a long term "sexy" destination unless freeze continues to do what he is doing for another 10 years atleast (which is unlikely)
