I think Franklin is a better recruiter, not a knock on Jones. UT should be pulling in top recruits every year, unless they have a tool like Dooley running the show.

Franklin is a good coach and a good recruiter but I would choose Jones. Had anyone ever heard of Franklin before he got to Vandy. Jones has done very well at other small tier schools and knows what its like to when conference championships and Jones isn't an a-hole like Franklin is.

I'm not a Tenn fan, but Jones is the easy pick.
Franklin hasn't beaten a ranked opponent. All of his good press is just that... press. He actually hasn't accomplished anything other than beating one of the worst Tennessee teams ever.

Vandy finished ranked for the first time in half century, and the last time Vandy had a 2 year win total like Franklins was in the 20's.
I like Jones, but give Franklin some credit. Getting it done at Vandy isn't easy shite.

Franklin is a good coach no doubt but I'm way more excited about Butch Jones at the moment. He has won 4 conference titles in 6 years and so far he's recruiting like a rock star at Tennessee.

Franklin is a hell of a coach but he's such a douche bag it's hard to like him. Tweeting classless shite about potential recruits choosing another school etc, and thats only the tip of the Iceberg.
Not to mention Jones is 1-0 against Franklin with equal talent
