so a running back taking advantage of a defense who wasn't discipline enough to stay with their assignments is luck?
As much as a returner running around special team players who were out of place.

Pretty solid argument imo.

LSU won but you are not going to find anyone outside of LSU fans and a few Bama fans that will say LSU was the better team at the end of the year.

What kind of idiot thinks you have to be better to win?

LSU

Their D is built to play against Spread teams.

Unlike Bama whose D is built to spread'em against Malzahn teams.

I wouldn't get cocky. Malzahn teams barely pulled out the last two wins. It's not like y'all dominated. A couple adjustments and y'all might be calling for Malzahn's head in a few years.

If the game were simply moved to November I think LSU wins. If the teams had played again in November I think AU wins. It's tough to beat a good team twice.

BTW, has Malzahn thanked Miles for the inspiration to put a returner back there yet?

If any team in the sec has recruited for these spread teams it has to be LSU. Now we all know that auburn had barely beat UGA and bama. The rain stopped use from throwing the ball like we wanted to also so it could have been worse of a lose the first time.

They were calling for his head after the 2011 season. They'll be doing it again after this season.

I'll go with LSU...woulda been closer tho. LSU was a better team IMO, although they were both solid.

Its always funnier when you have to explain it.

Seriously? You think people didn't get it? We all got it. But it was a cocky joke and I responded to it as such.

Hill toted the frick rock and would have rolled again. Lets be real. Auburn made this a 14 point game by scoring late after LSU had let off the gas. Auburn was much improved but it's a perfect matchup for LSU and will be again, if Aubbie can't stop the run

Auburn ended the season by barely beating Alabama, Mizzou, Georgia, and barely losing to Florida State.

fify, if you're gonna downplay one side downplay the other too

LSU finished the season by barely beating Arkansas, barely beating Iowa, and getting slammed by Alabama.

1) all of them are pro-style offenses; they aren't indicative of how we would do against a spread team
2) you left out the part where we shite all over the only spread team we played in that stretch
3) OP is giving us Mett back so I'm not sure the Iowa game means anything at all
