And that's fine that you would take Chizik over Richt...I'm seriously wanting to see who fellow barners would take over Chizik...obviously opinions will vary.

I like Miles, especially as a character.

But it absolutely blows my mind how the LSU fanbase pretends they weren't all but fed up with him just a year ago.

Now they're all shouting at the top of their lungs he's better than Saban. Just baffling how short their memory is, and how few people call them out on that.

Petrino is about it. He's the only one that is just a better X's and O's coach. Problem is...he hasn't won anything really. Saban - it would be interesting to see if ESPN would suck our $#%$ if Saban were our coach - very interesting. All of the other guys are all pretty good but its hard to argue about Chizik. He came in when Tubbs was getting abused in everything and has matched Saban - tic for tac. Not many coaches could do that or would even have the balls to sign up to do it. Chizik endured more BS than most men can handle - and he did it all with the up most class. So I'll keep him.

Obviously Saban and Miles. Maybes on Richter and Petrino. No to the rest.

I still don't understand the love affair with Muschamp. IMO he is a bust.

And for those that keep saying take out cam and look at cheezits record at AU....
. What is Bamas without Richardson?

Having not read a single response and not trying to flame, I think your blind homerism is clouding your judgement.

What about the two times Saban made him his bitch out of the three times they have met?

Couldn't have said it better myself.

NGT, I think that was your point in posting this, but with as retarded as this forum has been these past couple of weeks, I'd imagine it's going to be misinterpreted.

I like Miles and do think he's a great guy. I think he's also done a great job sealing up the state...question being, if Louisiana were to dry up a bit on high school phenoms, how would he fare recruiting the southeast?

I think he would do ok.

Starters on Offense not from LA
Josh Williford = Alabama
Spencer Ware = Ohio
Russell Shepard = Texas
Jarrett Lee = Texas
T-Bob Hebert = Georgia

Starters on Defense not from LA
Sam Montgomery = South Carolina
Ken Adams = Alabama
Michael Brockers = Texas
Karnell Hatcher = Florida
Kevin Minter = Georgia
Ryan Baker = Florida

Also you can throw in Brad Wing (Aussy)

Who's pretending? It's no surprise LSU fans are emotional roller coasters. What's weird is the fan base who you probably think is full of retards has swayed your opinion of his coaching abilities with their never ending negativity. There were some not wanting to give Saban a chance after 2000. Would you let that sway your opinion of his coaching ability?

People wanted Miles gone in his worst year, which was better than Auburn's this year. I don't care if you would rather Chizik, but basing it on the emotional whims of a few fickle fans is a weird way to make that call.

I'm just curious why we have no choice but to cave to everyone's flames and trash talking regarding our program and coaches.

He took a 5-7 team and made them 8-5 with a drastically improved offense, something we hadn't had since 2005 or 2004.

He took that team, and put Cam Newton (once in a generation player) behind a team stocked with seniors and a great OL, and led us to an undefeated NC season.

We all know how many people we lost during the offseason, and we weren't expected to do shite this year. Predictions of 4-8 from opposing fans to a ceiling of 9-3 from our most homer fans were met with a 7-5 record where we lost only to teams with better records than us.

I don't see how going 7-5, when that was squarely within expectations coming off of our huge losses, should have brought out the flaming. Yes, expecting to be mediocre is much less painful than seeing it come to fruition, but I for one am completely committed to Chizik.

We've been called everything from a one-trick pony with Cam, to having our OC referred to as our HC because no one wants to give Chizik any credit. The same exact people then started trashing Malzahn when our offense blew arse this year.

Ted Roof was told to look for a new job, that much is clear. Everyone here knows how much we had grown tired of our shitty D under him, to call him leaving "jumping ship" just makes you look retarded.

Malzahn- yeah, he's gone. Suddenly we're supposed to be embarrassed because his destination isn't as sexy as everyone once thought it would be. How does that affect Auburn again? Please leave your conspiracy theories at the door.

If we make a couple solid coordinator hires that will bring some recruits with them, and let any players that don't want to be here go, then we're in good shape considering how well we've been recruiting.

ETA: tl;dr, I know. I only respond considering the entire theme of the SECRant has been how bad we suck, which I just don't see. Interpret my desire to argue against that how you will.

Oh, I'm not preferring Chizik because people didn't like Miles. I thought it was bizarre how much yall hated Miles.

I'm just bringing it up as a reality check for those of your fanbase in here piling on.
