I will say LSU fans saying their special teams will play better is probably a reach though.

LSUs special teams have been atrocious in every game this season

Sorry you are insecure about LSU

Yet Alabama relentlessly tells everyone how superior they (needing approval/validation) are and everything else is just nonsense. Some of you guys sound more insecure than anyone else, truth be told.

Yet, LSUs special teams had the game winning touchdown against y'all.

Sucka

True, but I don't think there is a way to play worse. A fumble inside the 10 plus giving up a punt return TD is hopefully as bad as it gets.

If LSU shores up its special teams I'd say LSU. If not, then UF has a pretty good shot.

To the OP.

LSU has a rough road ahead, so I'm not ready to say we make it to ATL yet.

Didn't LSU run a "flea- flicker" right before half?

Yes. UF was putting 9 or 10 guys in the box, so yeah, Harris hands off to LF, most of the UF defense converge on LF, LF pitches it back, Harris completes the pass.

It was a very good call, IMO. That's the kind of play you run once in a while when a defense puts 9 or 10 in the box.

Given that we have the youngest offensive line in the SEC (without a doubt, including the Vols...) And started a QB who hadn't thrown a pass since Week 2, I think UFs offense looked pretty good

You're talking to an LSU fan who's used to watching games won with not very good offense. But you don't need a very good offense to win when you have a great defense. I believe UF's working on having a great defense, and I see McElwain as being ahead of schedule in terms of developing Florida into a well-rounded football team.

It sure wasn't the offense I'm used to seeing Florida trot into Tiger Stadium though, but don't let my barbs at Bamacracker stick in your hide.

I beg to disagree. LSU v Georgia in 2003

LSU won that re-match.

They also won the rematch against Tennessee in the 2001 SECCG.

That's why I said LSU was 2-0 in re-match games in the SECCG.

I think Bama can win and the fact that they usually do probably give many Bama fans a sense of invincibility against LSU.

I realize we have a real weakness on the OL. That is where the real test will be for Bama and Kiffin, working around the worst OL Bama has had since 2007.

Bama's defense should keep them in the game. Also, the only time that either team has scored more than 24 points since 2007 was the 2013 blow out game.

Leonard himself will get 14 points

I said the same thing about the UF game. Winner will need 28 + in this one IMO

Uh, Id be surprised if either Bama or LSU break 20 points in regulation.

could be wrong but I don't see either team winning with 20. we'll see

If LSU needs 28 they probably lose.

I think it will be a 24-20 game at most.
