Playing at home vs. other SEC teams is tough enough, but playing on the road in the SEC can be absolutely brutal (Oklahoma & Texas will find this out).

Who has the most "brutal" road journey ahead of them in the SEC this coming football?

My personal rating system is as follows:

A = Most Difficult
B = Difficult
C = Moderately Difficult
D = Less Difficult

I only gave one "C"; the rest are all "B's" and "A's".

The object of the SEC scheduling gurus was to make the 2024 season as balanced and equitable as they could. I think they succeeded for the most part. The 2024 season is going to be a rough one for everybody. If any team goes undefeated through the SEC title game, they need to be recognized as one the greats in SEC and college football history, imo.

ALABAMA -- Wisconsin, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, LSU, Oklahoma..........B

ARKANSAS -- Oklahoma State, Auburn, Mississippi State, Missouri.........B

AUBURN -- Georgia, Missouri, Kentucky, Alabama......A

GEORGIA -- Clemson (neutral), Kentucky, Alabama, Texas, Florida (neutral), Ole Miss.......A

KENTUCKY -- Ole Miss, Florida, Tennessee, Texas......A

LSU -- USC (neutral), South Carolina, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Florida.......B

OLE MISS -- Wake Forest, South Carolina, LSU, Arkansas, Florida.....C

Yeah we found out last season and destroyed your conference champion by double digits.

This year we get Georgia instead. The rest are all overrated at best.

I'd say Mizzou's schedule is easier than Ole Miss's. Mizzou has only 4 road games, while Ole Miss has five. Ole Miss has two contenders (pre-season) to play in Georgia and Oklahoma; while Mizzou has Bama. I'd give Mizzou a C, too.

The same way Washington destroyed Texas this year? Who was destroyed by Michigan?

Bama would've destroyed Texas had they played again, as the whole world knows (and Texas knows it, too).

Ohhhhhhhhhh, we're so skeeeeeeeered of the Moo Moo's. Or are y'all the Boo Boo's?

This looks like the easiest schedule possible for a good team

Bama will be down just because Saban is gone. They may be good but not as good likely

A&M was 7-6 and has a new coaching staff, USCe was 5-7. And Umass?

That's a D level road schedule IMO. One good team who is without their legend of a head coach, one average team with talent, and one below average team with average talent, and one team who I don't even know why Mizzou is playing there

Edit: that was only 3 SEC road games. They also play at Miss. St. Still a D level SEC road schedule if you ask me

Are we supposed to be thinking Missouri and Kentucky are going to be tough teams or something?

Is Georgia going to cancel like they did Oklahoma last season?

this makes zero sense. you're saying a neutral site game vs USC is tougher than Ole Miss playing @ LSU
